The property

A charming, stone-built, end terrace cottage, just a short stroll from Skipton's award-winning high street. This cottage is one of the oldest buildings in the town, part of the original Coaching House that served the old market town.
Full of character and charm it seamlessly combines many original features, such as exposed stonework and traditional beams with contemporary furnishings providing a first-class holiday cottage ideal for a romantic break.
Renovated to a high standard, this lovely cottage features a delightful sitting room with a feature fireplace and cosy woodburning stove, exposed beams and contemporary styling which leads to a well-laid out kitchen featuring an exposed stone wall, a stable door and individual styling.
Upstairs, the bedroom features a double bed and an adjacent spacious bathroom with a freestanding bath and separate shower, providing an ideal place to relax and unwind after a day exploring this wonderful area.
Situated slightly back behind an interesting small parade of shops including a specialist coffee roaster and tea merchant, a beauty salon and a newsagents/general store.
Arguably, it is possible to enjoy a fine cup of coffee whilst having your nails done and reading the newspaper, all without taking your slippers off!
It provides an excellent base to enjoy the many delights of the famous town, recently voted by the Sunday Times as The Best Place To Live In Great Britain.
Craven Leisure Centre featuring two pools, pitch and putt and tennis courts in 20 acres of parkland and famous farm shop and restaurant serving fresh local groceries, ales and fine wine are just a few mins up the road.
A short stroll also takes guests to the Medieval Castle, one of the oldest in the country, the lively canal basin, Skipton woods, the fabulous four-day market set out down the entire length of the main high street and the many excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes of Sheep Town.
Further afield, enjoy moorland walks at Bolton Abbey, the local farmers' markets at Grassington, Settle’s famous cheese dairy and artisan shops or visit elegant Harrogate or picturesque Kirkby Lonsdale, all within easy reach of this Skipton cottage.
An ideal place to get away from it all, relax and enjoy this superb location
