The property

The Stone built Thyme House is a semi-detached Victorian townhouse lying in the village of Haworth, renowned for its historic cobbled Main Street, iconic parsonage and rolling moors. Set against a backdrop of stunning scenery, this cottage provides stylish though comfortable accommodation in a period setting with modern facilities, ideal for families or the reunion of friends alike. Offering walks in every direction, with Penistone Hill adjacent, this spacious Haworth holiday home is a perfect destination for a get together with friends or family. Set over three floors with exceptional views from the rear of the property, this townhouse has five beautiful bedrooms, all en-suite. The interior comprises of a wonderful conservatory/lounge with stunning views across the moors. The main, extremely well-equipped kitchen contains fully integrated appliances, a six gas ring hob, double oven stove, microwave oven and coffee maker. The dining room contains an extending table to easily accommodate ten guests. The lower ground floor contains a second kitchen, with a washer/dryer and basic kitchen appliances. The fifth bedroom and en-suite bathroom is situated here as well as a delightful garden room with access to a small private garden area. There are Free-view TV sets in every room, and the conservatory/sitting room houses the large screen Smart TV. Weather permitting, there is a ten-seater outdoor picnic table and parasol. Cushions for the seating can be found in the small shed. Haworth is famous for public footpaths in and around the village and some of the most popular walks are around the reservoirs and the Bronte Falls. Walk along Bronte Way visiting the Bronte Bridge, leading out onto the bleak moors where you can visit Top Withins. Walking down the quaint cobbled main street, browsing through individual shops, pubs and tea rooms, you will eventually come to the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway, made famous by the film The Railway Children. Skipton is nearby with its delightful castle, and further afield is Bradford City of Culture and the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, boasting fabulous shops, and an excellent theatre. The Thyme House is a wonderful holiday cottage with fantastic restaurants and pubs within walking distance, making it perfect for a family or set of friends to build some everlasting memories together.
