Skipton is nearby, voted as the ‘Best Place to Live’ in Britain in 2014, with its cobbled streets and delightful castle, while further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, boasting fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum.
