Your escape begins outside as you cross the central courtyard beneath the imposing original clocktower to gain access to the entrance of the property; once inside you’ll be greeted by an open-plan space including a table set for two, for a romantic tête-à-tête, a plush sofa and TV for movie night, and a compact well equipped kitchen. The first floor reveals the first of the two bedrooms which features a king-sized bed, and an adjacent shower room with a rainfall shower. Head up to the second floor to the master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, ensuite with rainfall shower and a super-king-size bed (zip & link that can be separated into two singles on request). Saunter along the River Nidd to nearby Pateley Bridge (or just a short drive away), and enjoy the picture-postcard village, with its quaint little shops, cosy cafes and traditional country pubs; where you can experience delicious local cuisine and a warm dales welcome. Nearby Brimham Rocks (NT), Ripley Castle & Gardens, the picturesque waterside views of Knaresborough, and the village of Grassington (home of All Creatures Great & Small) are all worth a visit.
