With two bedrooms, including a ground-floor twin and a first-floor king-size, it makes a brilliant set up for a small family looking to explore the Norfolk and Suffolk region. Access to the Lodge is via a lighted footpath alongside the owner’s house to the privacy of your very own front door, although you can unload your luggage if more convenient by driving up to the main house.
Positioned in the centre of Norfolk with the acclaimed Cathedral City of Norwich only 7 miles north away from the property it offers a wonderful choice of days out.
The North coast is famous for its sandy beaches at Cromer (Fresh Crab Paradise!) Sheringham and Brancaster Staithe. Royal connections abound at Sandringham, Holkham Hall and Wells by the Sea. In the east Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are seaside favourites with Southwold on Sea in Suffolk exuding traditional Victorian seaside charm. Nearer home, half an hour’s drive away you can hire a boat for a trip on the Broads. Here you can relax whilst soaking up the sun as you cruise the peaceful waters through lush countryside amid river wild life that remains unchanged over centuries.
