The property

This charming terraced cottage is a barn conversion, set on what used to be a farmyard, now boasting a courtyard of similarly barn converted cottages on the outskirts of the fun-filled town of Pembroke. Making a marvellous base for a family or group of friends due to its flexible sleeping arrangement, there’s no better place to explore the coast of Wales. Admire the tasteful exterior of green paint and pretty decor before heading inside to uncover the wonder of your holiday home. Enter into the hallway and follow through into the kitchen where you can unwind with a cup of tea in hand and prepare a plan of action ahead of your action-packed days; holding a wide range of appliances to assist you in your culinary needs, the modest kitchen is sure to be the heart of this house with the adjoining dining room making the perfect place to gather at any time of day. Take a seat at the table while the dinner simmers and set up a board game for an evening of family fun. To achieve true tranquillity, the sitting area offers a delightful space where you can snuggle up as the electric log burner takes centre stage in the feature brick inglenook, or choose to unwind in the sun trap of the snug conservatory with a good book in hand with the marvellous views of the garden ahead. On the first floor you will find three well-appointed bedrooms, with a kingsize, twin and single room, the layout of the dwelling is ideal for a variety of group needs. Spend an afternoon in the garden with your loved ones amongst you, providing you with a delightful multi-level spot where you can soak in the sun and enjoy alfresco dining as the little ones play freely with your four-legged friends; you’re sure to create everlasting memories at Granary Cottage. The dwelling is set within a tranquil area of Wales, providing wondrous walking routes from your doorstep, as well as the excitement of Pembroke being within close reach with its historic delights and abundance of fun for all ages. Perfect for the outdoors lover, the surrounding area of the property offers scenic cycling routes, beachside adventures and plenty of enticing history and heritage to uncover. In reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Tenby and Milford Haven, Granary Cottage is an ideal base for those seeking the best of Wales. Please note that the cottage is 4 miles from Castlemartin firing range which borders Freshwater West beach. At certain times you may hear distant gunfire. Firing times are posted online and the range is closed for firing during August each year. The range covers an area of 2400 hectares on the South Pembrokeshire coast within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Castlemartin military range closes for the month of August and there are guided walks available during August on the scenic coastal area that covers the military range. Castlemartin has the highest concentration of seabirds on the Pembrokeshire mainland, including guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes. Most important of all, it provides an ideal habitat for the nationally-rare chough. The coastal heath and unimproved grassland also supports birds such as wheatears, skylarks, meadow pipits and stonechats.
