Let the dishwasher do all the cleaning, whilst you settle into the sofa by the gentle warmth of the electric fire and watch the Freeview TV. A back door brings in plenty of light and leads out onto a private patio with access to a shared lawn area, so why not throw down a blanket in the sunshine and enjoy a family picnic? As the day draws to a close, climb the stairs to find two beautifully appointed bedrooms with sloped ceilings and Velux windows for a snug space to curl under the sheets; a king-size and a twin provide ample storage space for your holiday essentials. Get ready in the bathroom with smart, white tiling and a large bath with shower over for longer, relaxing bubble baths or speedy rinses. The Wales Coast Path passes through the thriving little village and guides guests along fabulous walks to idyllic sandy beaches, such as the National Trust's Penbryn, the rocky coves of Llangrannog and the local fishing village of Tresaith. Cardigan is a popular town home to a 12th-century castle steeped in Welsh history, with the Welsh Wildlife Centre just outside the centre, with a glasshouse café, play area and wonderful trails to escape in nature. Head further north along the coast to visit Aberaeron, a bustling harbour town with plenty of shops, eateries and a public swimming pool, whilst the National Trust's Llanerchaeron is an 18th-century estate and traditional working farm well-worth a visit.
