For those days when home-cooked meals are on the menu, you’ll find a fully-equipped kitchen to make use of; make sure to dine alfresco when the weather permits, with the multi-level garden offering plenty of outdoor dining options. When it’s time to rest, you’ll find three bedrooms here to choose from; two king-size and one double. All the bedrooms are tastefully-decorated and come with lots of storage space. Last but not least, the bathroom comes complete with a claw-foot bath, for a luxurious end to your day. Retreat to the bustling market town of Tonyrefail for its local amenities, or take a short drive to Pencoed, home to the Pencoed Castle situated on the banks of the River Ogmore. Here you can discover the tranquil landscape of the surrounding countryside or catch a glimpse of the stunning views across the Ogmore Valley from atop the castle. Spend the day in Bridgend, which is just a short drive away; here, there is plenty to explore, from the 13th century castle ruins to the many local shops, eateries and pubs. Take a stroll along the River Ogmore and find the ancient bridge, or make a day of it and explore the nearby beaches and attractions. Porthcawl is well worth a visit, offering a selection of eateries, pubs, and a local museum. The town also offers walks along the sea front and access to the lovely coastal walks, a delightful sandy beach with watersports activities, and a golf course where you can try out a game or two.
