Head to the National Trust Nature Reserve Dinefwr and visit Dinefwr Castle where the 12th century remains reside on a hilltop and offer panoramic view of the valley below, with walks along the River Towy offering a pleasant afternoon activity. Those who are green-fingered will love to see the beautiful Aberglasney, one of Wales' finest gardens, as well as the National Botanic Garden of Wales with a wonderful tropical glasshouse designed by Norman Foster surrounded by formal gardens, woodland and lakes, it's a picturesque setting for anyone to enjoy.
