Perfect for couples seeking a romantic escape to the Brecon Beacons National Park, renowned for its amazing dark sky reserve, this property boasts a wealth of appliances, providing everything you'll need for a relaxing, self-catered getaway. Inside, make the most of the well-thought out, open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen where the designated chef can whip up tasty meals for two that can be enjoyed whilst watching a television series at the breakfast bar, or even sat on the private, decked veranda, which enjoys stunning views of the surrounding Welsh countryside. As the evening grows darker, indulge yourself in a long, hot soak in the outdoor hot tub before retreating to the plush double bed which awaits to transport you to a night's refreshing slumber. After you've enjoyed your morning coffee whilst sat outside in the lush garden, be sure to take time to explore your local area by paying a visit to the small market town of Llandovery, which is a short drive away and home to the historic site of Llandovery Castle. Nature lovers will relish in the chance to bird watch at the Red Kite feeding station, just over a mile away from Wild Acre, or the opportunity to stroll around both Llyn y Fan Lake, or the Usk Reservoir, both nearby and offering stunning countryside vistas. The county town of Carmarthen is also worth a visit whilst you're in the area, home to the Gwili Steam Railway and the eponymous Carmarthen Castle. The Brecon Beacons National Park also house several must-see travel spots, including the Henrhyd Falls, Corn Du, Maen Llia and Herbert's Quarry. The famous Pen y fan mountain walk is 22 miles away.
