The property
Perched on the outskirts of Newport, Pembrokeshire, is this fantastic, detached bungalow, Trem Y Morfa. Enjoying a superb setting overlooking the Pembrokeshire Coast, as well as being just a short distance from the beach, Trem Y Morfa is a fabulous choice for a group or family of six. Upon arrival, you will find off-road parking for two cars, as well as an external utility for your convenience. Step into your new abode, where you will find a contemporary sitting room, featuring an electric fire, plush seating and a Smart TV, perfect for relaxing evenings spent with loved ones. Continue through to the light and airy kitchen, where you can rustle up tasty dishes ready to enjoy at the dining table for six over a celebratory bottle of fizz, or alfresco out on your private decking with a backdrop of stunning, panoramic views out towards Newport Beach. After dinner, retreat inside where you can wash away the day’s adventures with a soak in the bath or freshen up in the walk-in shower. There is also an outdoor hot shower for sandy bodies.
As your eyes start to grow heavy, retire to one of three beautifully presented bedrooms, a double and two twins, all with plenty of storage. Explore the lively town, where you can treat your loved ones to a well-deserved supper at the Golden Lion, Castle Inn or Royal Oak, spot local wildlife at the River Nevern Wildfowl Conservation Area, or head straight to the beach for a day on the dunes. Those interested in history can visit the town's surroundings, which include the remarkable 5500 year old Neolithic Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber as well as Castell Henllys Iron Age Village. Meet the Gentle Giants at the Shire Horse Farm in Eglwyswrw and then visit Cardigan, birthplace of the Welsh Eisteddfod in Cardigan Castle and the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran with its own imposing Norman castle, which are only a few miles further north. Heading west towards Fishguard, see the historic Fishguard Fort and then head down into the picturesque Lower Town harbour - the setting for Hollywood blockbusters Moby Dick starring Gregory Peck and Under Milkwood starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton! Then go up to visit the Town Hall and the 'Last Invasion Tapestry' that tells the incredible story of the Last Invasion of Mainland Britain of 1797 and of our Welsh heroine, Jemima Nicholas! Don't forget St Davids, the UKs smallest city with its magnificent cathedral and explore the coastal coves and beaches in-between! All this and more awaits at Trem Y Morfa.
