The property

Enjoying a sought after position on the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire is this quaint, stone-built abode, Inglenook Cottage. With the dramatic coastline lined with glorious beaches and activities resting within striking distance, this characterful accommodation is perfect for a family holiday to the seaside. Built in 1850, Inglenook Cottage is one of the oldest cottages in Broad Haven. Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into the sitting room, where the exposed beams frame the room and ensure a sense of character, whilst the exposed stone fireplace contains a roaring open fire, ideal for getting cosy with your loved ones during a cooler evening. The sitting area is joined by a well-presented dining table, perfect for whiling away a few hours playing board games or tucking into a home-cooked meal that was prepared within the fully-functioning kitchen. Step up and be presented with all the quality amenities required to cater for yourselves for the duration of your stay, whether it be a picnic for the next day’s beach adventure to a hearty evening meal, in addition to conveniences including a washing machine and a dishwasher. As the evening draws to a close, head up the staircase where you can look forward to catching some rest and rejuvenating within one of the bedrooms, designed with a contemporary elegance and plush double beds. A seating area in the garden on the elevated decked area offer far-reaching views of the waves and sandy shore as you tuck into a tasty treat. If you don’t feel like cooking one evening or are looking to celebrate a special occasion, take a short 3 minute stroll to the seafront where you will find a number of pubs and a bistro serving delicious food, as well as a shop/post office for picking up any essentials. The neighbouring village of Little Haven, again with a choice of pubs and restaurants, can be accessed at low tide via a short walk around the beach or over the headland. Broad Haven offers a host of water sport activities with an opportunity to hire wetsuits, kayaks and surfboards, you’ll also find the world-famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path awaiting to be explored for those feeling energetic. Immerse yourself within the history of your surroundings by heading to St Davids, Britain’s smallest city, and its beautiful cathederal, or visit the pretty harbour village of Solva. Travel slightly further afield to explore castles of Pembroke, Manorbrier and Carew, or the popular seaside town of Tenby. Boat trips to the Pembrokeshire island of Skomer Ramsey and Grassholm to view colonies of seabirds and other natural wildlife nearby.
