Summary

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, and well-located, making it ideal for large groups. Guests appreciated the cleanliness and amenities, including a lovely garden. However, some raised concerns about the quality of additional beds, maintenance issues, and the need for better cleaning.

The property

Superbly positioned in the popular town of Glastonbury (also known as The Isle of Avalon) in the sought-after county of Somerset, rests this remarkable five-bedroom holiday home, Tree of Life House, Number 27 Bere Lane.

A former B&B, this spectacular abode has been renovated to a high standard, sitting with the peak of the infamous Glastonbury Tor as a backdrop, making an excellent location for both families and friends alike.

The house offers parking on the private driveway plus addional ample off-road parking, where you can unload your belongings with ease before making your way inside the grand entrance hallway of your new home-from-home.

Make use of the handy utility to freshen up your holiday attire before making your way through to the open-plan living/dining room where you can unwind with a moment of peace in front of the television as the designated chef prepares a hearty meal for the group in the nearby kitchen.

Uncork a bottle of wine and gather with your loved ones to tuck in to a delectable dish, or if you'd prefer, retreat to the conservatory to dine in a more intimate setting with your significant other.

Take advantage of the large lawned garden and head outdoors to soak in the last of the evening sunshine with your favourite tipple as the little ones keep themselves entertained with a spot of table tennis in the games room.

As the day draws to a close, head indoors where you'll climb the stairs to the first-floor to find a king-size bedroom complete with an en-suite with roll-top bath, a further double and twin room, each benefiting from their own TV and en-suite to avoid any morning queues, whilst small families may prefer the family room with double and two folding guest beds, TV and en-suite, positioned on the second-floor.

A short walk from your doorstep will bring you into the centre of Glastonbury where you'll find all of your local amenities, including a bustling high-street with eclectic, artisan independent shops, markets and frequent special events and a delicious selection of eateries, ranging from traditional pubs, quaint cafes and foreign cuisines.

Take a step back in time with a visit to the nearby Somerset Rural Life Museum & cafe or explore the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, or if that's not your thing, retreat with a wander through the ancient grounds of Chalice Well, visit the White Springs and climb to the summit of the Glastonbury Tor, where views stretch as far as Wales on a clear day and atmospheric mists can often be seen at dawn all around.

If you time it right, why not head over to the world-renowned Glastonbury Festival to catch a spot of live music?

Lace up your walking boots and journey north to lose yourself amongst the limestone peaks of the Mendip Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or for a coastal adventure, the popular seaside town of Weston-super-Mare isn't too far, where glorious golden sands, a grand pier, a handful of fascinating museums and an 18-hole golf course offer something to suit everyone.

Make memories that will last a lifetime with your loved ones, or host your perfect intimate retreat, with a stay at Tree of Life House, 27 Bere Lane.
