A walk up the lane reveals a different, but equally stunning, view from every gateway. Just one mile down the lane from the cottage, is Bickleigh Mill, a historic water mill, café and gift shop, where you can spend the day dining alfresco by the River Exe. The cottage is situated within easy driving distance of both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. Visit one of the many National Trust houses in the area surrounding your Devon cottage, or visit the small market town of Tiverton nearby. Explore the historic city of Exeter with its impressive cathedral, excellent shopping malls, galleries, bars and restaurants. The cottage is midway between Devon’s north and south coastlines, convenient for a day out to either.
