Relax on the sofa with a good book as you absorb the peaceful atmosphere or tune into the TV and see if anything takes your fancy. Gather with your loved ones for a hot brew and later in the evening enjoy a competitive board game at the dining table after dinner. You can rustle up a hearty English breakfast for everyone in the well-appointed kitchen before heading out to see the local sights. On return from your adventures, you have a choice of bedrooms to catch your rest in including a double, twin and child's bedroom with a pull-out trundle bed. Each is furnished to a high-quality standard, with bedside tables, matching lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers, for a comfortable break away. They are also served by the modern bathroom, where you can take advantage of a refreshing shower each morning. On a warm summer's day, sit out on the decking and soak up the views with a thirst-quenching beverage in hand. The kids can play on the lawn with the dog and enjoy some fun in the Wendy house, while you watch on pleasantly nearby. The owner's have a successful riding stables and livery next door, where you can enquire about lessons and joining a hack through the local area. This is a great base for enjoying the Jurassic Coast, and seaside resorts of West Bay and Lyme Regis, where you can stroll along the shore and take in the sea-salt air. Some tourist attractions include Montacute House, an Elizabethan mansion with Renaissance features, Tintinhull Garden, Glanstonbury Abbey and Longleat Safari Park.
