Dust off those cooking books and head to the kitchen, amply equipped with all you the essentials for a short break, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and even a washing machine, so you won’t have to pack your whole wardrobe. Serve family feasts in the dining room or enjoy alfresco dining from the enclosed courtyard, perfect during the warmer months. As the evening comes to a close, there are three tasteful bedrooms to choose from; the master includes a double bed and en-suite shower, while the second bedroom hosts twin beds and a single bedroom completes the sleeping quarters. Walkers can follow a nearby footpath which leads to the summit of the Cheddar Gorge from where you access many other footpaths and discover the surrounding area. Take a scenic drive towards the stunning coastline for a range of local sandy beaches where you can treat the children to an ice cream, or simply let them run and play in the sand, while you soak up the sunshine.
