Just a short 10-minute walk takes you into Dunning town, where you’ll find a gold club, tennis court, shops and lots of history to discover. The local pub, The Kirkstyle Inn and a local shop are within a 15-minute walk from the cottage. Further afield, you can visit Kinnoull Hill, which is a 222-metre, south-facing cliff summit with views of the River Tay, the Friarton Bridge and the Tay Coast railway line. Alternatively, there is the Black Watch Castle and Museum, which offers an insight into the colourful Highland Regiment’s history. If you fancy a city day trip, then Edinburgh is an hour’s drive from the property, where you can explore its medieval history, charming shops and pubs.
