The property
This quaint stone-built cottage is within the grounds of Garston House Farm situated in the pretty hamlet of Garston near the village of Whiston, Staffordshire, nestled on the edge of the Peak District. The Stables is ideal for families looking for a beautiful countryside getaway within the Peak District National Park. This holiday home enjoys original features including exposed brickwork and beams and an enclosed garden with a lovely heated pod with seating for you to enjoy afternoon tea or a glass of wine. Off-road parking greets you on arrival before stepping into the hallway; here you can leave your muddy boots and jackets. The open-plan living space has a corner sofa, a smart TV and dining/ seating for six, ideal for winding down after a day of exploring. The kitchen is a contemporary space fitted with the amenities you need, including an electric oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, and a dishwasher. When eyes tire, there are two double bedrooms on the ground floor with Smart TVs, serviced by a sleek bathroom. Venture upstairs for the king-size bedroom, also with a Smart TV and matching furniture, with a shower room adjacent. Explore your rural location either on foot or bike, with a great selection of woodland trails to discover and your amenities can be found in the village of Ipstones, home to a traditional pub. There are a great selection of attractions nearby with the Peak Wildlife Park to see your favourite animals, Alton Towers for thrilling rides and Kingsley Bird & Falconry Centre. Visit the leafy suburb of Trentham, home to Trentham Monkey Forest for a special walk surrounded by monkeys and the rich woodlands of Trentham Estate for a taste of opulence.
