When the day comes to an end, you will find two sizable and tastefully furnished bedrooms upstairs, one with a king-size bed and the other with a super-king-size which, if preferred, can be made into two singles. The contemporary shower room can be found close-by, a space offering stylish, monochrome fittings and a spacious walk-in cubicle. The property enjoys its own lawned garden with a patio, complete with a productive apple tree, which you can help yourself to, and a view of Longstone Ridge. Great Longstone is situated in the centre of the Peak District, only a few miles away from the pleasant market town of Bakewell, and close to other attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and the Spa town of Buxton. There is secure bike storage in the garage, however bikes can be hired at nearby Hassop and you can enjoy an easy family-friendly cycle along the flat cycleway of the Monsal Trail. Keen walkers have a good choice of local trails straight from the cottage door or you can soak up the peaceful relaxed feel of the village from a quaint spot in the garden.
