Buxton 3 miles. The Shavings is a charming studio apartment, set in the rural hamlet of Cowdale on a working farm. This property is a lovely alternative to the usual Peak District cottages, in a superb location on the edge of the Peak District National Park, just 3 miles from Buxton. Set on the ground floor of an old stone barn conversion, The Shavings offers a welcoming and homely accommodation ideal for couples. Look forward to relaxing into the evening in front of the TV; break out the popcorn for a romantic movie night or plan the events for the days ahead. Cook up some delicious evenings meals in the well-equipped kitchens and gather at the breakfast bar with a refreshing glass of bubbly to toast to a wonderful holiday. When you find your eyelids drooping shut, retire to the double bed and get some much needed rest, with a contemporary shower room to serve. The Shavings is a wonderfully welcoming and economical base for a relaxing holiday in the Peak District.
