The property
This detached, 18th century barn conversion is situated on a farm in the countryside, on a large open complex and rests within the rural hamlet of Bottomhouse, on the outskirts of Ipstones. This heart-warming getaway offers a wonderful space to relaxing of an evening after exploring the breath-taking Peak District National Park and its surroundings. Retaining ambience and charm, this cottage offers well-equipped accommodation with beams and views over rolling countryside. The ground floor consists of a separate well-equipped, fitted kitchen, a welcoming sitting room with a solid oak dining table and solid oak flooring, leather sofas and a wooden open tread staircase, and two shower rooms. Spend a moment or two within the garden area, where you can rustle up some summer treats upon the BBQ before dipping into the bubbling hot tub. If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, make your way to the local restaurant which enjoys a superb dining menu and a welcoming atmosphere to match. Moreover, Bottomhouse is classified as an Environmentally Sensitive Area for wildlife preservation, and many fine walks can be enjoyed, including a 12-mile walk through the owners' land over Ipstones Edge.
