A beautiful and spacious stone built terraced house with unrivalled views of the village cricket field and south facing aspect, Spring Bank Cottage is at the heart of the thriving village of Hayfield, gateway to the High Peak. Combining contemporary with traditional, this elegant and extremely comfortable home is a perfect base to explore the peak district and beyond. Enjoy the views from each of the 4 storeys, or from the private garden; the house backs on to the village cricket field, the heart of the village, and there are wonderful views of the village and hills beyond. On match days, the garden is a great vantage point to view the cricket, you can even see the scoreboard without getting up from your seat! Stepping into the spacious hallway with separate cloakroom and WC, you will find the kitchen diner on your right where an afternoon snack will be awaiting your arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and adjacent to one of the main sitting rooms with dining table. Move into the main sitting room and light up the open fire in winter months or relax on the balcony; no matter what time of year you visit, this room is the perfect place for everyone to gather for an evening of family time together, whether you are sank into the sofas or playing a board game at the dining table. You have the option of a second sitting room at the garden level, this is a good spot to take time out, settle down with a good book, catch up on work or watch a DVD.
