The property

The Bothy is a spacious, stone terrace cottage resting amidst the undulating countryside of the Peak District National Park. Its quirky antique furnishings and rural location make it perfect for large groups looking to escape to the country for a while. Set on a peaceful courtyard, enter the property and on your right sits the charming, large kitchen/diner, boasting a dining table set for 12. The layout also boasts a wonderful, fully appointed kitchen with a stunning range cooker and pleasant cream-coloured units. Take your pick of homely spots to relax at The Bothy, a smaller sitting room is perfect for watching a favourite film away from the group, while the more spacious sitting room, set with an enticing woodburning stove, is just perfect for some quality time with your loved ones. The first floor of the property plays host to six charming bedrooms, fit with antique features and with four luxurious super-king size beds, the other two bedrooms are occupied by a double and a single bed. Choose from three delightful bathrooms to get ready for your days, all with unique layouts adding their own individual charm. Appreciate the idyllic surroundings of The Bothy from the wonderful patio area, enjoying far-reaching views of the glorious Peak District. Head west, out of the National Park to find the stunning Cheshire market town of Macclesfield, abounding in fine pubs, eateries and things to do to make your visit a memorable one. Alternatively, delve into the wonders of the Peak District, where as well as scenic walking and cycling paths, you will find superb spots such as the striking spa town of Buxton with its sublime architecture.
