The property
This charming Peak District cottage, featured on Homes Under The Hammer, is located on a quiet lane in the hamlet of Swythamley, 5 miles from Leek. Constructed in 1904, this wonderful Peak District cottage offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully-equipped fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a lovely open fire. Expertly renovated, the cottage retains some of the original features including leaded windows and tiled floors. There is a sun room and a large garden with lovely views of the Staffordshire countryside. The full extent of the cottage's transformation was featured in the popular TV series Homes Under The Hammer. This Peak District cottage is an easy drive from the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne, while Alton Towers is 40 minutes away.
