To the rear is a small patio area with table and chairs, and beyond, an open cobbled courtyard where in days gone by the fishermen of Seahouses would gather to mend their nets. Only a two minute walk from the front door are public seats with wonderful views overlooking the harbour, Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne. This cottage is centrally located on the Heritage Coast where golden beaches and historical castles can be explored close by, plus further afield are Berwick-upon-Tweed, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Hadrian's Wall. This cottage is an ideal base for touring this beautiful county.
