Seahouses boasts gorgeous sandy beaches and an excellent selection of shops and eateries. You can catch a boat from here to Farne Islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Bamburgh also has some great independent shops, bars, pubs, cafes and boutiques and is knowns for its fascinating castle. Jump in the car and head out to attractions such as Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland Country Zoo, Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and Hadrian’s Wall. Activities to look forward to while you’re in the region include golf at Alnmouth, horse-riding at Slate Hall Riding Centre and surfing at Bamburgh Castle Beach.
