To the rear of your cottage there is a spacious lawned garden with patio and furniture, a delightful spot to sit and watch the wildlife in this tranquil, unspoilt area. Within easy reach of your cottage are Bowden Doors, a haven for rock climbers, and the village of Chatton which boasts a village green, a shop/Post Office, an art gallery and a pub, which serves excellent food and ale. Just a short drive west are the wonderful Cheviot Hills, where you will find walks and cycle routes to challenge all abilities, and to the east is the stunning Heritage Coastline, with its castles, villages and endless golden beaches. There are also many links courses in the area, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Holy Island, the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne Priory, along with the breathtaking Northumberland National Park are all within reach. This cottage makes a wonderful base for a superb holiday at any time of the year.
