Warm and welcoming throughout, Bunty’s Place provides cosy accommodation and is just the spot to escape from the hustle and bustle in this beautiful part of Northumberland. The comfortable sitting room is perfect for curling up in front of the warming stove, whilst the kitchen with dining area is ideal for gourmet meals rustled up on the range cooker or planning the route for the next day’s outing. The two comfortable bedrooms won’t fail to provide a cosy night’s sleep, leaving you refreshed and ready to conquer another day in the Northumberland countryside. To the rear of your cottage there is a spacious lawned garden with patio and furniture, a delightful spot to sit and watch the wildlife in this tranquil, unspoilt area. Within easy reach of your cottage are Bowden Doors, a haven for rock climbers, and the village of Chatton which boasts a village green, a shop/Post Office, an art gallery and a pub, which serves excellent food and ale. Just a short drive west are the wonderful Cheviot Hills, where you will find walks and cycle routes to challenge all abilities, and to the east is the stunning Heritage Coastline, with its castles, villages and endless golden beaches. There are also many links courses in the area, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Holy Island, the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne Priory, along with the breathtaking Northumberland National Park are all within reach. This cottage makes a wonderful base for a superb holiday at any time of the year.
