Enter through the second-floor entrance and off the spacious hallway you are met with a large open-plan kitchen/living/dining space, with two 3-seater sofas, a recliner chair, table with seating for six, plus a high chair available for child if needed, along with a 56” screen Smart TV, Blu-ray player and stereo. A feature mural and French doors that open onto a small balcony with table and chairs for two give this space a homely yet relaxed and airy feel.
The large galley kitchen with cooking island houses all the modern conveniences you need for a self-catering seaside escape; cook dinner whilst watching TV with the family, without missing a beat! On the same floor there are two comfy double bedrooms with skylights; one a double with a TV/DVD player, one with two singles that can be zip linked together to form an indulgent super king bed, plus a large flat screen TV and Blu-ray player. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet and basin.
Upstairs on the third floor is a sizeable master bedroom featuring a lake view wall mural with a zip/link super king bed, that can be split into twin beds for more flexible sleeping arrangements. Visit the ruins of Whitby Abbey, inspirational within Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Take a ghost walk after dark or hike up the 199 steps to the Church of St. Mary.
