Boasting high class accommodation for eight guests, this attractive abode is a great choice for families and friends looking to explore this popular fishing port, with easy access to the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Begin your relaxing retreat within the light and airy open-plan living space, comprised of an amply-equipped kitchen, with its sleek worktops housing all the essential appliances, such as an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, along with an elegant dining table where sit down meals can be enjoyed. End your evenings relaxed on the leather sofa with your loved ones amidst, catching up on your favourite shows or enjoying a family board game on the coffee table. Bi-fold doors lead out to the balcony where you can really take in the scene; gaze at the boats as they come and go, admire the charmingly painted houses nestled around the harbour and breath in the wonderfully fresh sea air. Run yourself a warm bath to relax after a day of exploring, with the option of a shower over too for a quick refresh, before choosing from one of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts lovely harbour views and an en-suite bathroom, whilst an equally inviting twin and a double bedroom can be found on this level too, and completing the layout is a king-size ground-floor bedroom, complete with an en-suite with both a walk-in shower and a separate bath. Situated in the centre of Whitby, you will have easy access to a great number of tourist attractions, you will struggle to fit everything in one trip! Some of the most popular attractions in the town include the 199 Steps up to the imposing Whitby Abbey, said to have inspired Bram Stoker’s writing of ‘Dracula’. Visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum where you can learn more about Cook through historical and ethnographic exhibitions, or head to the Whitby Museum where you can learn of the enticing history of the town and of course plan days spent on it’s stunning beach, perfect for a day of sandcastle building and watersports in the summer months. Further afield, the breath-taking North York Moors offers a welcome change of scenery, with stunning moorland, ancient abbeys and picturesque villages nestled side by side, it’s well worth a visit. Harbour Sunset offers a charming escape for families, with easy access to the many delights of Whitby and the surrounding area.
