Outside is a private, enclosed rear courtyard, which is the perfect place to spend a summer's evening with a glass of wine. Just a two minute walk away is the centre of the village where you find narrow, cobbled streets and alleyways, an historic harbour, beach, local inns, tea rooms and shops, or you may wish to enjoy a bracing walk on the Cleveland Way clifftop trail. The old spa town of Saltburn lies a few miles north and is worth a visit, with its pretty gardens, working pier and cliff lift, and to the south is the bustling seaside town of Whitby, which boasts long, sandy beaches, an imposing abbey and famous fish and chips! With the spectacular countryside to discover and numerous attractions nearby, this cottage is well placed for a wonderful holiday in the North York Moors.
