Inside, the property has been renovated to a high-standard with all contemporary furnishings, giving that warm and welcoming feeling throughout. Guests enter into the open-plan kitchen/diner, fitted to a high-standard with grey units and sleek white worktops, providing ample preparation space and all the appliances you could need to rustle up delicious meals. There is a large dining area, perfect for those family gatherings over a homemade meal over a well-deserved glass of wine. From the dining area, there is a snug area, ideal for those looking to get some quiet space, with an Xbox for that extra bit of entertainment. Walk through to the large sitting room with plenty of furniture to curl up and unwind in the evening catching up with your favourite shows, or enjoying some quality family time together. Retire to one of the well-presented bedrooms, consisting of all king-size or super-king-sizes, with one bedroom and en-suite wet room on the ground floor, ideal for those with limited mobility. History lovers will delight in York Minster, a Gothic-style medieval cathedral, as well as the old street Shambles, dating back to the 14th century. York Races is only 4.2 miles away. If you don't fancy cooking one evening, venture into York for any one of its delightful pubs and restaurants for that fine dining experience and sample its traditional Yorkshire ale.
