A delightful terraced property resting in the coastal village of Carlin How, Richmond Cottage is ideal for a family looking for a getaway to North Yorkshire. Enter into a spacious east facing sitting room with plenty of natural light, stylish furniture and a TV, ideal for reclining in an evening and reflecting on the day’s adventures with a glass of your favourite beverage. With contemporary furniture and ample amenities, the lovely kitchen/diner is the ideal spot to cook up a storm and enjoy a hearty meal together. From here, access the rear decking area where guests can have morning coffee before heading out to explore the local area. Freshen up in the stylish shower room before settling down for the night in one of the two well-presented bedrooms, including a double with homely décor and storage. There is also the option of a twin room with access to the second-floor snug, perfect for children to play or to curl up with a good book. Carlin How is a lovely village offering two local shops and pub, The Club. From here, head over to Skinningrove where there are riverside walks, a fantastic sandy beach, Skinningrove Jetty where guests can try out fishing and the possibility to learn more about local history and heritage at Land of Iron at Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum. There are more amenities and attractions at the close-by Saltburn-by-the-Sea, including a nature reserve, a golf course, eateries and pubs, coastal walks and another fantastic beach. Staithes is a stunning harbourside town with winding roads and independent shops, well worth a visit and boasting a beautiful river and pebbled beach. From here, head over to the bustling town of Whitby where there are more amenities, as well as the incredible Whitby Abbey, a local museum and sandy beach. Guests can also hike and mountain bike through the incredible scenery of the North York Moors national park or explore many extensive coastal walks throughout the area.
