The property

Small but perfectly formed, this characterful former fisherman's cottage lies right in the heart of the pretty village of Robin Hood's Bay. Providing traditional and comfortable accommodation, Roseberry Cottage is perfect for couples or small families wishing to explore this beautiful and dramatic heritage coastline. Set over three floors, there is quaint and cosy open-plan living area, with beamed ceilings and the original stone fireplace that houses an electric flame-effect stove. A modern compact kitchen caters for all needs, with a dining table to one side. Steep, winding cottage stairs lead up to the two charming bedrooms, both boasting en-suites - so no queues in the morning! A balcony overlooking the beck leads off from the sitting room, where you can relax with morning coffee and watch the world go by. The shops, cafés and local inns of this smugglers' village are all on the doorstep, whilst the beach, with it's rock pools and coves are ripe for exploring. Wander through the cobbled narrow streets and alleyways, enjoy an afternoon tea in one of the many tea rooms or hunt for fossils on the beach.
