Later, step into the fully-equipped kitchen to rustle up hearty meals which the whole family can enjoy around the dining table, after dinner venture to the rear garden to enjoy the last light over Whitby with a glass of wine in hand. When stars fill the sky, venture up the stairs to wash off the day’s adventures in the sleek bathroom ahead of catching your rest in either the double, the twin or single bedroom. During the day take a leisurely stroll into the heart of Whitby where you can stock up on all of your self-catering essentials at location convenience stores or treat your loved ones to a delicious meal at The Black Horse Inn or The Granby; there are also a plethora of unique bars to choose from. Head down to Whitby Beach to admire its golden shores and the breath-takign views out across the North Sea or jump on one of the regular boat trips for a chance to marvel at the coast in a unique way or sport resident wildlife including whales, seals and dolphins. Discover the area’s history by a challenging but rewarding trip up the famous 199 steps to reach St Mary’s Church and the iconic ruins of Whitby Abbey.
