The property
Located on the site of the former Cliffs Hotel in the heart of Trearddur Bay is 3 Lon Y Dryw, a brand new, contemporary, three storey, semi-detached property, boasting sea views and a 10-minute walking distance to the main beach and the centre of Trearddur Bay. This property is well-placed for a family wanting to explore the coastline of this picturesque part of North Wales. Park on the driveway and head down the side of the property to the entrance, where you will find a storage cupboard to leave your coats and shoes, as well as a convenient cloakroom with basin and WC. Make your way into the bright and spacious kitchen/diner, with a sleek and well-equipped kitchen filled with the appliances you will need for a self-catered stay, while meals can be enjoyed together at the large dining table and during the summer, open up the bi-fold doors onto the large patio and enjoy a glass of wine in a peaceful setting as the children play on the lawn, or fire up the brand-new barbecue for an alfresco dinner. Move upstairs to the first floor to find the sitting room, which offers the perfect spot to relax in the evenings with your favourite shows on the Smart TV or spend time on the balcony enjoying the sea views. The first of three bedrooms contains two spacious sets of adult size bunk beds with access to the contemporary family bathroom, with an eye- catching monochrome print floor and a bath with shower attachment. The second floor offers the remaining two bedrooms; a generously sized king-size double with a balcony that boasts further sea views, plus a twin, sharing use of a shower room with walk-in shower. The centre of Trearddur Bay is within 10 minutes walking distance, with convenience stores for essentials and picnic bits, as well as pubs, cafés, restaurants, and ice cream parlours for grabbing a sweet treat on a sunny day. There are beaches and coves across the main road from the property and the picturesque main sandy beach is also a short walk away, perfect for a relaxing day of sunbathing and swimming, while the more adventurous amongst you can take advantage of the many water sport opportunities, including surfing, windsurfing, and sailing. Close by is Porth Diana Beach, an idyllic beach where lots of small boats anchor, as well as the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature, a heathland reserve here you can see some incredible wildlife. Explore Holy Island to discover fascinating religious sites and burial grounds, as well as scenic walking trails, including the Anglesey Coastal Path, which boasts unrivalled seascapes. Discover the superb 18-hole golf course on the outskirts of Trearddur Bay, a maritime museum, Holyhead Breakwater Country Park and a wider selection of shops, local pubs, and restaurants. Explore the Isle of Anglesey further and discover the historic Beaumaris, known for its well-preserved 13th century castle and Victorian gaol, while Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Newborough Forest are all within easy reach and well worth visiting.
