The meadow gardens wrap around the cottage and feature a swing, a patio and private sitting areas to relax or read a good book whilst listening to the river and enjoying the sights and sounds of the countryside. Binoculars as well as seed for the bird feeders are provided. A wide variety of mapped walks are available from the doorstep featuring ancient woodland and drovers' paths. The popular Llandegla bike trails and Bala with its lakeside walks and within easy access, as is Snowdonia National Park.
