The surrounding countryside offers excellent walks along the coast, as well as fishing and birdwatching opportunities, while Wales' only working windmill is within easy reach, providing an opportunity to see corn being ground the old-fashioned way. Nearby Church Bay has a wonderful seafood restaurant. perfect for dining out on a special occasion, while Rhosneigr boasts an award-winning beach where you can try your hand at a variety of watersports, including kitesurfing, diving and sailing, as well as a superb 18-hole golf course. Enjoy a day trip to Anglesey Sea Zoo, before venturing into the historic town of Beaumaris to see its imposing Medieval castle and great selection of shops and restaurants. From here, you can hop on a boat trip to Puffin Island or cross the Menai Bridge towards Snowdonia National Park to enjoy spectacular walking, hiking and cycling trails through magnificent mountainous countryside.
