The Loggerheads Country Park is a great place to enjoy a family walk in the wooded river valley setting, home to a discovery trail or take a more rigorous ramble up Moel Famau to find the remains of a tower sitting atop the summit and stunning panoramic views. Up on the coast you can find a great selection of beaches, including Colwyn Bay, Rhos-on-Sea and Llandudno, with the Welsh Mountain Zoo, National Trust Bodnant Garden and the historic town of Conwy close to the coast too.
