Head up the stairs to discover two well-appointed bedrooms; a king-size and a family room, featuring a double and single bed for convenience. On this floor, there’s also a bathroom with a bath and shower over, whilst a handy cloakroom and utility rest on the ground floor. Stay local and explore the coastal town of Porthmadog, with plenty of shops, eateries, and pubs to visit, including Tafarn Pencei for some traditional fare, before heading to the beach for a stroll or the chance to try your hand at some watersports; the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways is also a popular, local attraction with families, worth adding to your itinerary. The nearby town of Harlech is a must-see, with its castle perched atop a rocky outcrop, and its historic port, or perhaps venture to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Caernarfon with its magnificent castle and historic town walls.
