The property
Bryn y Mor is a fab holiday house near to the sweet village of Borth y Gest on the Llŷn Peninsula. Boasting stunning views and a lovely garden, this holiday house is ideal for a relaxing family break.
The main sitting room has plenty of space with sofas set around a gas flame fire, adding a cosier feel in the colder months. The views through the interesting curved windows are just lovely. There's a TV in the lounge and the little library room off this also has a TV.
The large kitchen/dining room has an Aga, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, TV and everything you need for a self-catering holiday In the kitchen, french doors open out onto the terrace and the garden.
There is a downstairs cloakroom off the foyer with a sink and loo and an utility area off the library room with fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and another small freezer. There is also a shower in the utility - perfect for sandy toes!
Upstairs are four bedrooms: the Harlech Room has twin beds and views across the sea towards Harlech. It also has an en-suite shower room with loo and wash hand basin. The main bedroom has the benefit of French windows that open onto a balcony overlooking Cardigan Bay. The en-suite bathroom offers a slipper bath, a separate shower, loo and wash basin. There's also a single bedroom and a twin room with a small sitting room and a further loo and separate shower room with wash basin upstairs.
The garden is an utter delight! It’s been planted and designed so that it has plants flowering during every month of the year, making it a beautiful space all year round. There’s a small grassy hill beyond the garden where you can sit and soak up the views. There are two beaches that can be accessed via a path from the garden - Samson's Cove and Garreg Cnwc or sit out on the terrace where there’s a table and chairs and simply relax. Black Rock Sands blue flag beach and Criccieth with its historic castle and seashore are also highly recommended for a day trip. Sounds like the ideal setting for a family holiday house, doesn’t it? You’ll certainly enjoy a stay in this area of the Llŷn Peninsula in beautiful North Wales.
