Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways is a steam train with observation seats that can be booked for unobstructed views of the stunning scenery through the Welsh mountains. Caernarfon Castle, is a beautifully preserved 13th-century waterfront castle, with an interesting history to read up on and if you want to climb up the steep winding stairs; you will be rewarded with sunset views from the top.
