Chandos is a pet-friendly holiday cottage in the village of Dolwyddelan, Conwy, set within the Snowdonia National Park. Inside, the sitting room offers a Smart TV and a woodburning stove for relaxed evenings in. Next to this is a well-equipped kitchen/diner for preparing and enjoying meals together. The enclosed rear patio has outdoor furniture, making it a pleasant spot for a morning coffee or an alfresco meal, while the light-filled conservatory provides another space to sit back with a book or a drink. Upstairs, there’s a double bedroom and a twin, both simply styled for comfort, along with a bathroom featuring a bath and shower over. During your stay at Chandos, the Eeyri/Snowdonia area is not only stunningly beautiful but is regarded as a natural playground, with its mountains, waterfalls, forests and beaches. Adrenaline seekers will enjoy the nearby Zip World Llechwedd with its thrilling zip lines and underground adventures. Nature lovers can visit Rhaeadr Ewynnol (Swallow Falls) for spectacular views, while Betws-y-Coed offers a tourist information centre and local attractions like Pont-y-Pair Bridge and the River Llugwy. The historic Ffestiniog Railway provides scenic rail tours through the National Park, departing from nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog. For quieter days, follow the walking trails of Gwydir Forest Park or explore the wide-open spaces of the Carneddau and Glyderau reserves, managed by the National Trust.
