Offering accommodation for up to six guests, it provides a scenic family getaway to Wales at any time of year. Venture into the hallway to be greeted by an impressive gallery landing, kicking off your shoes before stepping into the sitting room and lighting up the electric woodburning-effect fire to bring a homely aura to the room, while the grey and mustard tones create a relaxing ambiance. The kitchen offers the perfect social space; a contemporary room hosting a wonderful range of high quality appliances, letting you prepare all your favourite family meals in no time, with a central island and seating for two, making a lovely spot for a romantic moment with your partner. Step down into the dining room where all can gather to enjoy meal times, or choose to dine alfresco amidst in your very own private garden. Begin your days beneath the shelter in the garden with stunning views of Cadair Idris on a clear day. Also on the ground floor is a laundry/drying room ideal for walkers to hang up their wet gear with a boot rack above the boiler for 6 pairs of boots, while the first floor houses a luxurious bathroom where you can choose from an indulgent soak or a quick shower to start the day. Begin your days sat beneath the shelter of the garden, taking in your serene surroundings, before embarking on one of the many walks from your doorstep, the nearby Torrent Walk being particularly popular for its rewarding views and tranquil atmosphere. Outdoor enthusiasts will also delight at the ample opportunities for mountain biking, climbing amidst the wonder of Cadair Idris and beyond, horse riding and so much more, offering something for every taste. The market town of Dolgellau can also be reached by a steady walk or a short drive, where you will find all you could need for a wonderful self-catered stay including convenience stores, pubs, restaurants, cafés, bakeries and plenty more catering to all your cuisine needs, as well as the town boasting over 200 listed buildings to marvel at, supposedly the highest concentration in the whole of Wales! A designated 'cycle break centre', there are plenty of opportunities to explore the area by bike, with the Coed y Brenin mountain bike trail also being within close reach, or venture out to the coastal town of Barmouth for a traditional day on the beach and the chance to try your hand at a watersport, or simply soak in the seaside views on a leisurely stroll with your loved ones.
