The property

Mablethorpe 5 miles. This lovely barn conversion is adjacent to the owner's home in the rural hamlet of Strubby, within the lovely rolling countryside of Lincolnshire. This is an upside down house with a cosy open plan living space on the first floor which has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is a double bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, both having underfloor heating, and the washing machine and tumble dryer is also located in the shower room. There is a cute little room with a small sofa bed which is perfect for a child and this room is connected via the bathroom. The unspoilt market towns of Louth and Alford are within easy reach and delight visitors with their street markets, small shops, summer festivals and craft days. Gibraltar Point offers great bird watching opportunities, and there are nearby fishing lakes for anglers. The unique, challenging and exciting circuit at Cadwell Park is well worth a visit for speed lovers, and the county offers numerous houses and gardens for those wanting a more peaceful day out. This delightful cottage is a perfect place for pets to holiday too and there is such a great choice of walks in the immediate area and further afield, including the pastoral Lincolnshire Wolds. The beautiful coastline of Lincolnshire is a mere five mile drive or pleasant cycle ride. There are numerous beaches, with their badges of cleanliness, and Mablethorpe is a traditional resort offering a lovely beach for building sandcastles and for paddling, along with funfairs and arcades for all ages. To keep the fun alive, Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells and Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes are easily reached. A visit to Hull crosses the magnificent Humber suspension bridge and highly recommended is a trip to The Deep, one of the UK's largest aquariums. The town is home to the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary where you can meet the seals along with an array of other friendly animals. Donna Nook beach is close by where the seals arrive in October to have their babies on the sand dunes. You can witness their antics and see their furry babies.
