Summary

Some minor issues noted included a desire for more crockery and a remote control concern. Overall, highly recommended for future stays.
The property
Beach Haven is a homely and up-to-date retreat situated in Anderby Creek, voted one of Britain’s best hidden gems in the TV show Extraordinary Escapes; near the town of Chapel St Leonards and Sutton on Sea in Lincolnshire.
At Beach Haven you are merely a stone’s throw from great places to eat and drink and a few minute’s walk from 10 miles of soft, sandy and unspoilt beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach and in the pubs, restaurants all year round.
There are great walks along the coastal paths from Anderby Creek toward Sutton on sea and Chapel St Leonards with stops at both the North sea Observatory and Seascape café or the Vista at the Boatshed café.
You are surrounded by nature in Anderby Creek, a fantastic place for walkers and furry companions; you will regularly see seals sunning themselves on the beach, Roe deer, Rabbits (look out for the black one), Badgers, Foxes and lots of birds of prey, you’ll also find Ammonite fossils washed up on the beach. With secure, gated off-road private parking for up to 2 vehicles and welcoming two well-behaved pets, this inviting house is perfect for families or friends seeking a coastal escape. Upon entering the property, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen/diner, being fully renovated, everything is new and fully equipped with all you need to prepare delicious meals for your group. Adjacent to this, you'll find a handy utility room housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and dog towels designed to wrap around the wettest and sandiest of pets, perfect for those longer stays. The sitting room is a snug space for you to unwind, boasting a new OLED Smart TV and separate Surround system for your entertainment with free Sky and movies, with a new woodburning stove to add warmth and comfort during those cooler evenings. When it's time to retire for the night, choose from three well-presented bedrooms; a double, a twin that can be set up as a King-size on request, and a further twin room, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for all. The property benefits from two bathrooms, one with a bath and walk-in shower, and another with a walk-in shower, ensuring there's no morning rush. Outside you’ll find a secure front garden with seating, additional rear private garden with picnic bench and BBQ, all perfect for enjoying the summer sun. Alternatively chill on the private, secure decking area or in the new Jacuzzi hot tub with glorious lighting, inviting you to soak your worries away under the stars; or better still, head for a sandy escape to Anderby Creek beach where the viewing point offers an unparalleled panorama. If you do choose to venture beyond the borders of your beach house retreat, don't miss the opportunity to make memories in the nearby towns of Chapel St Leonards and Sutton on Sea which offers many convenience stores, pubs, antique shops, chemists, take aways, arcades, beaches, as well as cafes for tea and cake. A 20-minute drive takes you to Skegness where a variety of attractions await your discovery, starting from the bustling Skegness Pier that delights arcade enthusiasts, through to the fascinating underwater world at Skegness Aquarium.
