The beating heart of the home is the living/dining room which is where you and your loved ones will be spending most of your time whether that be tucking into meals at the dining table or enjoying some TV with your feet up! The kitchen is well-equipped for the chef amongst you to whip up some culinary delights, head to the local butchers, approximately half a mile from the property, to pick up a variety of freshly cut meats. Why not head outside to the private courtyard in the morning to enjoy a roasted coffee while you enjoy the sunrise? Behind the courtyard is a building which facilitates a 12 in 1 games table, an air hockey table and some other activities such as skittles and hoopla, to keep you occupied within indoor space, should the weather turn wet. Before heading out to explore, enjoy a nice hot wash in either the bathroom or the shower room to ensure you are prepared for whatever adventures are on the agenda. Explore the town of Carlisle located a few miles away, where history enthusiasts will be drawn to the medieval Carlisle Castle and the stunning Carlisle Cathedral, presenting wonderful architecture and rich heritage. For a fun-filled day out with the kids, head over to Walby Farm Park, hosting a variety of animal encounters and play areas. Visit Tullie House, combining a museum, art gallery and garden to offer a comprehensive cultural experience. Lose yourself in the twists and turns of the interactive Courtship Maze, or take a relaxing stroll through Kingmoor Nature Reserve to reconnect with nature. The Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre provides an unforgettable experience, where you can observe a stunning selection of raptors up close.
