The picture windows of this superb property take in the rugged fell-tops and the patchwork of dry-stone walled fields that characterise this idyllic place.
A Langdale breakaway has to be all about the hills, and the walking, climbing and mountain-biking here is seriously as good as it gets. Besides the Pikes themselves, Crinkle Crags, Bowfell, and even Scafell Pike, are accessible from the valley, and Lingmoor is a slightly lower but exceptionally rewarding summit, sitting so prettily between Great and Little Langdale.
