The cosy, open plan living area has original beams and a lovely open fire; perfect for warming up your toes after a day walking out on the fells. Outside this Windermere cottage is a pretty garden area to the front with a lawn complete with a summerhouse, ideal for a refreshing drink whilst you enjoy the sunset over the mountains in the distance. The centre of Bowness is one mile away, where there is a host of individual shops and restaurants to enjoy. Younger children will be delighted to visit the World of Beatrix Potter, whilst The Glebe, an area of parkland overlooking the lake shore, has a children’s play area, pitch-and-putt golf, tennis courts and a quayside for lake cruises.
