When meals are served, gather at the dining table with seating for six or head out onto the decking to savour the views of Black Combe and the rolling hills. When the evening draws to an end, retire inside and take a hot shower before taking your pick between three bedrooms to rest your head. The first bedroom is a well-presented double room, while the second and third bedrooms are twin rooms with a convenient Jack-and-Jill-style entrance to the shower room. Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee at the picnic bench as the foodie of the group prepares a home-cooked breakfast. Take advantage of the on-site facilities with The Ski Bar to grab a fresh pint and on-site watersports for a day filled with fun. Explore the National Trust - Sandscale Haws National Nature Reserve, or take a walk on the Haverigg Beach. Visit Broughton In Furness, a market town, which is home to the Swinside Stone Circle, a beautiful Bronze Age structure that is one of the best-preserved in the country. The town also has a number of excellent restaurants and bars, including The Black Cock Inn and the Old Kings Head, both of which are great places to enjoy a pint or a meal. Venture further afield to Lake Windermere; here you can find the world-famous World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, as well as the National Trust's Hill Top.
