If you prefer to bask in your surroundings a little longer, why not move mealtimes outdoors where you can enjoy the quiet, sheltered, spacious garden as you saviour your tasty dinner? When the evening draws to a close, retreat to the first floor to wash away the day in a stylish bathroom, before completing your routine and climbing into either a king-size or double bed in preparation for another exciting day of adventures. In the morning, begin your exploration along the coast where you can take a scenic stroll along Whinnysty Rd Beach, tour the remains of St Patrick’s Chapel, where on a clear day you can experience far-reaching views across the bay to the beautiful Lake District. Enjoy wandering around the 1200-year-old St Peter's Church grounds or indulge in traditional fish and chips as you soak in the far-reaching coastal views. Enjoy a walk, jog, scoot or bike ride along the long, traffic-free promenade, all the way into Morecombe, where you can sample some wonderful food and drink at the Midland Hotel, admire the views and maybe even reach the Happy Mount Park, which is just over four miles away along the lovely coastline. In Heysham, you will also find your nearest conveniences including a shop and a pub where you can stock up on the essentials or indulge a cold beverage. From your doorstep, you can also spend the day walking the trails of the Heysham Nature Reserve, or alternatively head into the city of Lancaster, home to the Lancaster Maritime Museum, Lancaster City Museum, Lancaster Castle, and Williamson Park, in addition to a vast array of shopping and eating opportunities.
